The Golden Hour

In photography, the “golden hour” is the time shortly after sunrise and before sunset where the sun is low on the horizon and the light is particularly warm and attractive for photographs. During a visit to Colorado with my daughter, I witnessed a moment before sunset when the upper fields were ablaze with the golden light while the lower areas were already descending into night.
