Peles Castle

Who hasn’t wanted to live in a castle at some point in their life? My good friend, Sabina Foisor, is a native of Romania and gave me this image after a trip home. What a beautiful scene straight out of a fairy tale!

The painting is a “line and wash” with the initial drawing done in ink and then watercolor added. I love the delicate lines and warm colors of the castle contrasted with the cool colors of the snow and mountains.
