Little River

Durham is blessed with many treasures of natural beauty such as this one on Little River in north Durham. The land was acquired by Durham to be preserved as a park. The scene has many interesting features: the mountain laurels on the bluffs, the beauty of the river itself, the trees with exposed roots and the rocky shore.
