Creativity has always been an important part of my life. My experience with photography led me to take up watercolor painting as a way to go beyond the simple reproduction of images. I am primarily self-taught as an artist and I’ve focused on learning through experimentation (and making mistakes!)  With my watercolor paintings I attempt to compose scenes which capture the intricate dance of light, color and value.
