Rocky Mountain Llama Farm

While visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Colorado recently, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful snowy landscapes that are infrequent visitors to North Carolina. My daughter and I were taking a walk together on a snowy morning and I was captivated by the view of this farm. The strong reds of the barns contrasting with the whites of the snow and golden browns of the grasses were striking to my eyes. A few people have asked me where the llamas are in this picture? The females are huddled in the barnyard on the right of the picture out of view and the male is in a separate pen. Perhaps there is another painting (or two) needed to solve this mystery?
