Monhegan Island Coastline

Monhegan Island in Maine is a magical place to visit. The island is a quiet community which is home to many artists and craftsmen. There are interesting paths winding through the natural areas which suddenly emerge into spectacular views of the rocky cliffs that circle the island. I was inspired by the lovely colors of the blue and violet shadows of the cliffs contrasted with the darker shadows of the rocks below and the rust colored stains of the rocks.
